Long time no blogging

I am going to get back into blogging. I know it's been FOREVER since I blogged and for that I'm sorry. I had to put blogging on hold for awhile when dealing with some family stuff. Anika is now in Kindergarten and will soon be graduating from it and Caeley is in 1st grade also about to be done with it and Natily will soon be starting Pre-K. I will be starting down a new road very soon and I am very excited about it. I will be homeschooling my daughter, Anika. She is autistic and I feel like she needs more one on one attention then the public school can give to her. This is a decision that my husband and I prayed, researched and talked about a lot. We believe it is the right decision for our little girl.

Today my oldest is no longer just a little girl.....she is now a big girl :( how the years have
gone by so fast. I can't believe she will be starting 1st grade in the fall. Caeley has had 3
surgeries for her cleft lip and you can hardly tell that she was born with it now.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!!!!

Father’s Day Prayer
Lord, please bless our fathers,
these men who mean so much to us,
who are greatly responsible
for who we are and who we are becoming.
Bless them for having the courage
to do what’s necessary to keep us out of trouble,
for making us do the right thing,
for helping us build our character,
even when it makes us angry;
and bless them for pushing us to do our best,
even when they just want to love us.
Bless our fathers for being our protectors,
for leading us through stormy times to safety,
for making us believe that everything will be all right
and for making it so.
Bless our fathers for quietly making a living
to provide for those they love most,
for giving us food, clothing, shelter
and other necessary and not so necessary material things,
for unselfishly investing time and money in us
that they could have spent on themselves.
Bless our fathers, Lord,
for saving some energy for fun,
for leading us on adventures
to explore the outer reaches of ourselves,
for making us laugh,
for being our playmates and our friends.
Bless them for being our secure foundation, our rock,
for holding on tight to us...until it’s time to let us go.
Lord, bless these men we look up to,
our role models, our heroes,
our fathers.
In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Some of the girls favorite children books

Llama Llama red pajama
This is a story that Natily brings to me several times throughout the day to read to her. She LOVES Llama Llama red pajama.

The Best birthday party ever

I have here recently got this book on my kindle to read to my girls. I have 2 girls that are having a birthday very soon. So the excitement the little girl in this story is great. It's a countdown book to her birthday and in her mind she will have a huge birthday party. This book is a keeper for my little girls.
I Love you this much

I also got the on my kindle. This story is about how much a mother bear loves her baby bear and how she shows hopes and prays that the baby bear knows that God is watching over him and loving him. A very sweet book.

Image found on google images
We have quite a collection of Step into reading books. Caeley is already at level 2 but could most likely read level 3. Once she started Kindergarten she picked up reading as if she was born to read! She loves her books and these will continue to be part of the collection for years to come as my other 2 girls learn to read.

Tattle-tale

To me today is the first real day of summer. The first day of being told everything that is going on when my back is turned and the first day of all three girls fighting with one another with no light at the end of the tunnel. I know for sure that there are 77 more days of summer for my girls.......it's not like I am counting down or anything LOL. The day the tattling calms down to where I can hear myself think........ahhh sounds heavenly, but for now I get to hear "MOM!!!!!" over and over and over again all day everyday! I really do love my daughters but for those who have kids....you know what I am talking about.

Last day of kindergarten

Today was Caeley's last day to be a kindergartener. It was bittersweet. The good side of it is that soon I will have 2 in school............SOON!! I'm only a little excited about that.  The sad part of it is my oldest daughter is leaving a teacher that she loves and how I wish this teacher could be her 1st grade teacher as well, but Anika will hopefully have her next year for kindergarten. Her teacher and I have become good friends and I plan to keep in close contact throughout the summer and hang out somewhere, MAYBE we could hang out at the "park" we both love (a joke between us). I have been helping out in her class all week and I must say I respect what she does 1000% more then what I did before this week. She goes above and beyond for her kids and she would do anything in the world for them.

She made each one of her students a memorable gift.
Here is Caeley's:

The poem says

You Are Special

You're a very special person.
I hope by now you know
How I loved to be your teacher,
And how fast the year did go.
I will always think of you
As through the years you go.
Try hard to do the best you can,
There is so much to know.
One thing I hope I've taught you
To last your whole life through
Is to know that you are special
Just because, you are YOU.

Anika's new hair cut

I was getting tired of Anika's hair, she had about 3-4 different lengths of hair and it drove me crazy. So I tried to get it even.

Games my daughters play on the Ipad

My family LOVES the IPad. One of the big reasons why I love the IPad is all the learning games there are on here for my little girls. Some of their favorite learning games are:

1. Little Reader- four letter words
2. Color ABC deluxe HD
3. Disney's Princess and the Frog digital books
(this has puzzels, songs, games and story book)
4. Toy story 2 digital book  (has the same features as Princess and the frog)
5. Hippoppmath

Some of the fun games (but not that much learning involved.)

1. Pet Hotel
2. Make me a princess
3. Barbie- I can be
4. Candy doodle
5. Tinkerbell- Fairies Fly

What are some of your kids favorite games?

Have you ever had a day...

When all the kids fight and cry and more often then not they are screaming. Your husband has to work late so your next break is going to be when it's bedtime and it just isn't arriving fast enough for your liking. Than just as you thought there is no hope to even put you in a semi good mood this is what you see when you go get a drink

SURPRISE!!!

It lets you remember they are just little kids and they are having a bad day too. It's the mom's job to try to make them smile and have a fun day instead of sending them to their rooms because you need a 5 minute break from the crying and screaming. Just give a few thousand hugs and a few more thousand kisses and you both will be feeling better.

Thanks to my sister-in-law, Christina for finding this. I thought it was too funny not to share with everyone!

By the way, if yesterday happened to be the last day all I did was clean all my girl's rooms and did laundry. If I believed it was really the last day I don't think I would of been cleaning.

Little treats for Caeley's classmates for graduation / end of school year

I wanted to have Caeley give all her classmates a small treat for the end of the school year. Kindergarten was such a wonderful time for Caeley. She loves her teacher and each one of her classmates. It makes it easy for me to give her kisses and hugs every morning knowing that she is going to school and is going to enjoy her day. I am so proud of her for becoming the little girl that she is today just by going to school. I think her friends will enjoy this small treat. Here is where I found the little treat bags http://www.etsy.com/shop/MoreThanaCupcake

Confetti Eggs!!!!

As the day came to an end I remembered that I had forgotten to get the confetti eggs out.  SOOOOOOO I went and got them out before the day was over. :) I think they liked them!

Our easter day

When we first woke up we gave the girls their gift easter baskets. (Sorry I forgot to take a photo of them before I gave them to the girls) Then it was church time. While we were at church the easter bunny had visit us so the girls had their egg hunt. Here are some photos.

After this photo was taken she decided that she didn't like the hard boiled eggs.....they were wet from the grass.

While they were egg hunting they found a caterpillar.

These photos are of the girls eating the bunny cake I posted.

Anika didn't believe in taking small bites

Natily made a mess while eating the cake

Caeley carefully scraped off the cool whip to eat.

Earless bunnies

Now we are just going to relax for the rest of the day.
