Confetti Eggs!!!!

As the day came to an end I remembered that I had forgotten to get the confetti eggs out.  SOOOOOOO I went and got them out before the day was over. :) I think they liked them!

Our easter day

When we first woke up we gave the girls their gift easter baskets. (Sorry I forgot to take a photo of them before I gave them to the girls) Then it was church time. While we were at church the easter bunny had visit us so the girls had their egg hunt. Here are some photos.

After this photo was taken she decided that she didn't like the hard boiled eggs.....they were wet from the grass.

While they were egg hunting they found a caterpillar.

These photos are of the girls eating the bunny cake I posted.

Anika didn't believe in taking small bites

Natily made a mess while eating the cake

Caeley carefully scraped off the cool whip to eat.

Earless bunnies

Now we are just going to relax for the rest of the day.

Via muffins

Via muffins that I made
http://thepioneerwoman.com/tasty-kitchen/recipes/breads/via-cappucino-muffins/

My review: I will not be making these again. The coffee flavor is too strong for me.

Hubby's review: He loves them! He is a huge coffee drinker.

Breakfast biscuits

My friend Jackie came up with these awesome breakfast biscuits! My girls love them and they are super easy. This is how I make them. You take a can of 8 count biscuits cut them into 4 pieces, smash them down so they will fit into a muffin pan. Place one of the quarter pieces in each spot on the muffin pan (only use 16 muffin spots) . Place some shredded cheese of your choosing on top of each biscuit then put some breakfast meat (sausage, bacon, ham, etc) on top of cheese. Scramble some eggs (as many or as little as you like) and pour some on top of the meat sprinkle more cheese on it if you would like (depending on how much you put on the bottom) and use the remaining biscuits, cut them into 4  pieces smash them down and put them on top you don't need to press down just lay it on top. Bake at 350 for about 20 min. or until the tops are golden brown. I bake these ahead of time and freeze them so my daughters have quick easy breakfast throughout the week. To heat them up all i do is wrap them up in a paper towel and put them in the microwave for about a minute or less depending on how big or small the biscuit is.

For these I used turkey bacon

Target deals I got today

Some of you know that I am trying to stockpile on non perishable foods. I truly believe it is a way to save on your monthly grocery bill. Now with all that being said here some photos of the items I bought along with receipts. What isn't shown clearly on the one of the receipts is that I earned a $5 gift card for some of the items I bought.

All the Zyrtec was free with the coupons I had.

I got $94.48 worth of items at Target for only $41.52
